Welcome to this fourth and final Project EDWARD speed management webinar for 2025. The topic is one of the most critical and challenging areas of road safety, as speed remains a defining factor in both the likelihood and severity of collisions – therefore effective management is central to achieving safer journeys for all who use our roads.
Today, we are joined by a distinguished panel bringing a range of expertise and perspectives.
Paul Keasey will outline the strategic context for speed management;
and Sean Maher from Quartix will discuss how technology and data can support effective fleet management.
Adding an all-important human component to this will be Dr Rob Torok and Raymond Williams. Rob is a Consultant in Emergency medicine at Dorset County Hospital and a Prehospital doctor on the Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance. Ray works for Slater + Gordon following a career with North Wales Police where a key role he performed was as a family liaison officer.
